WELCOME to The Children’s Center! The mission of our non-profit childcare center, since it was established in 2005 as the Greene County Early Learning Center, has been to “provide quality care in a learning environment.” Thanks to many donors in our community including businesses, families, individuals and entities including Grow Greene County and the State of Iowa, we now have our own building at 306 South Vine in Jefferson.
Because “growth happens here,” we care for children two weeks of age up to 5th grade in a building that is especially designed for early childhood development and education in rooms that are created with each age in mind.
You want the best for your child and so do we. These early years are an important period of development and learning for your child. Childcare is a partnership: Parents know their child best and we know how children typically develop. When we share information, we build a bridge between home and childcare for your child.
